Hi, I’m Betsy—the face behind American Mahjong with Betsy!

I created this space to bring people together around something fun: a table full of tiles, a little strategy, and plenty of laughter. Learning a new game can feel intimidating, so my beginner classes are welcoming, step-by-step, and full of opportunities to ask questions.

Whether you come with a friend or pull up a chair on your own, I want you to leave feeling more confident—and excited to play again.

Let’s learn, laugh, and mahjong!
